# Manage Your Doohick Subscription, Plan, and Billing

> Learn how to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Doohick subscription, update your payment method, and reactivate a canceled account.

Your Doohick subscription controls the workspaces, team members, and API capacity available to your account. You can change your plan, update your payment details, or cancel at any time from the **Settings → Billing** page — no need to contact support for routine changes.

## Viewing your current plan

Navigate to **Settings → Billing → Plan** to see a summary of your subscription:

* **Current plan** — Starter, Pro, or Enterprise.
* **Billing cycle** — monthly or annual, with the next renewal date.
* **Usage stats** — API calls consumed today, active team members, and workspaces in use compared to your plan limits.

<Note>
  Usage statistics update every 15 minutes. If you've just upgraded, allow a few minutes for the new limits to reflect on this page.
</Note>

## Upgrading your plan

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Billing settings">
    Go to **Settings → Billing** in the left sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Upgrade Plan">
    Under the **Plan** section, click **Upgrade Plan**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select your new plan">
    Choose **Pro** or **Enterprise** from the plan selector. For Enterprise, clicking **Contact Sales** opens a pre-filled request form.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm payment">
    Review the prorated charge for the remainder of your current billing cycle, then click **Confirm Upgrade**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Upgrades take effect **immediately**. Your new limits — additional workspaces, team members, and API calls — are available as soon as the confirmation screen appears.

<Note>
  When you upgrade mid-cycle, Doohick calculates a prorated charge for the days remaining in your billing period. The full new rate applies from your next renewal date.
</Note>

## Downgrading your plan

  <Step title="Open Billing settings">
    Go to **Settings → Billing** in the left sidebar.

  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  A downgrade takes effect at the **start of your next billing cycle** — you keep your current plan's limits until then. However, if your usage already exceeds the lower plan's limits (for example, you have 20 team members but are moving to Starter's limit of 5), those resources will become **read-only** when the downgrade activates. Remove excess workspaces, members, or integrations before the cycle ends to avoid disruption.
</Warning>

## Updating payment method

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Payment Method settings">
    Go to **Settings → Billing → Payment Method**.
  </Step>

  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  If you have a failed payment awaiting retry, updating your payment method triggers an immediate retry rather than waiting for the next scheduled attempt.
</Tip>

## Canceling your subscription

<Warning>
  When you cancel, your account enters a **30-day grace period** during which your data is preserved and you retain read-only access. After 30 days, your workspaces, integrations, and associated data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Export any data you need before the grace period ends.
